Twilight and poetry

Porto Alegre and the Guaíba river at the twilight

Porto Alegre, my hometown, capital of the southernest state of Brazil, and the Guaíba river at the twilight

The light broke through the night:

colorful twilight  in the morning sky…

deep vibrant kaleidoscopic shades.

profound  emotions… a vacant gaze…

Silently amazed I thought

How sad would the world be

If there wasn’t the musical poetry,

If  poets would not  write their verses…

    • YASSER MOHAMED!

Here it’s 9:35 pm. So, I greet you: ‘good evening’, my friend from EGYPT!

You are a sensitive man. We both ‘fight’ for human rights- each in a different country – but for humanity.

You don’t need to be a poet – we ALL are ‘poets’!

Thank you for liking this blog. You are very wellcome!

      Mirna,
      your friend from Brazil.

    • OSSAMI amigo!

Demorei a agradecer-te e me desculpo. Ainda ‘engatinho’ ao escrever poesia em inglês, mas aos poucos, irei desenvolvendo, burilando e chegará o tempo em que os escreveri como o faço em português.

      Uma boa noite, OSSAMI!

      Fraterno abraço,
      Mirna C.
